about

This EP is the first collection of songs that we recorded as the inasmuch live band.
All the interludes were recorded in my living room as I left a mic on and recorded my friends Dan and Ian and I playing guitar together for about an hour.
These songs all mean a lot, I hope you enjoy it.
Thank you for listening

Track Name: plaza square
late nights at coffee shops making plans I knew would fall through but thats alright cause I was there then with you thoughts of forever just skewed by my youth my vision was cloudy cause all I could see was you
so when I talk of forever
well I should know better
because
no one remembers the summer when all they can see is winter and no one remembers the warm when they're frozen to the core
so I'll
wait for the sun as the clouds roll in
and look for snow as the leaves start to fall
and I always thought that things would have gone a different way and I never thought I'd say half the things that I said today and I always thought the sun would come out but I'm lying here alone just watching the clouds
and I always thought the sun would come out
but I'm lying here alone just watching the clouds

so I'll wait for the sun
so I'll wait for the sun
so I'll wait for the sun
it's time for me to move on.
Track Name: drunk tank
I fell up the stairs too many drinks and you'll have me there in your room in your bed where I said I would never rest again but I'm here now and you're too loud I don't wanna hear why you need me so I'm leaving but I'll fall down I guess I'm staying out tonight
so why don't you
stop the room
from spinning
and why don't you

why don't you call me when I'm better and why don't we work this out together cause my thoughts are racing I can't keep my mind in one place and I'm stumbling all over again
so why don't you
stop the room
from spinning
and why don't you

I can't keep my head straight I wanna leave this fucking place but it's too late yeah it's too late
Track Name: more sax
I'm starting to think that all the words you said to me were fake cause you've been gone for far too long when you said just a couple of days and you taught me things that I can't read cause they're not things we talk about like how to feel and how to love but not how to live without
a home
a place to call your own
where were not alone
this absence is killing me and whaddya you know I'm staying up at night staring at my phone at all the photos we took and whaddya know I'm walking the streets at night to the places we used to go
to be alone
now that you're gone
I don't go
I'm starting to think that all the words you said meant nothing at all but they still mean everything to me and I know that you won't answer my call but it won't stop me from trying
Track Name: kinkade
you said write me a song and I'll paint you a picture is this good enough am I good enough
cause all I want is to see your face staring straight made of oil paints and I can't sing but I can yell in key I'll yell for you if you paint for me

I've been trying to find the right chords to fit you in a song
I've tried all night but they all sound so wrong
they say a pictures worth a thousand words yeah I can tell
and I've tried a thousand chords but none of them are working to well
so while you're putting beauty onto canvas with every stroke
I'll just end with this progression of wrong notes
and I hope its enough to let you know
yeah I hope its enough
